One individual unfortunately lost his or her life in a recent Connecticut car crash. News of the auto accident may understandably leave the surviving family members distraught and in disbelief. Financial compensation may not be able to bring the victim back, but it may help the family to move forward after the sudden tragedy.
The accident took place shortly after noon on a Sunday in mid-November. According to authorities, a car occupied by only its driver struck a pickup truck. The pickup truck was hit on its passenger side.
Three people, including a passenger in the pickup truck, were injured in the collision. The three injured parties were all taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, according to reports issued by local law enforcement, the pickup truck’s passenger succumbed to the injuries he or she suffered in the collision.
The family members of the person who died in the Connecticut auto accident have the right to file a wrongful death claim against the driver of the car that allegedly struck the pickup truck if they believe that his or her negligence caused the accident.
